by Nilanjana Datta and Renato Renner
The present workshop, the 13th in the series, aims at bringing together specialists and students of classical and quantum Shannon theory and related fields. The plan is to have a few longer talks in the mornings and some shorter ones with accompanying poster presentations in the afternoons, to allow ample time for discussions and collaborations.
by St. Andrews' Conference
Organised by the network's PhD students, the conference brings together experts working on different aspects of quantum theory and technology. It will offer a platform for young researchers to present their work and to engage with peers. There will be ample space for discussion on perspectives and recent results from the point of view of early-stage researchers. Experts in the field will give talks on their work as well as introductory lectures. Every participant will have the opportunity to present their research, either through a contributed talk or a poster.
by Swissnex Quantum Summit
The Swissnex Quantum Summit 2025 will bring together key ecosystem builders from several countries to discuss how to accelerate breakthroughs and shape the quantum economy. In an interactive workshop format, participants will explore the best practices in building robust quantum ecosystems at the local and national levels, and connecting them across borders, with a focus on collaboration potential with the Swiss quantum ecosystem. Topics will include government programs, infrastructures, cross-sector collaborations, talent development programs, and the value chain pipeline for quantum technologies.
by Quantum Industry Day in Switzerland
QIDiS is a one-day event that gathers over 500 academic and industrial R&D to foster exchange and accelerate the development of new quantum products for inspiring keynote talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. Large private and public investments are rapidly pushing quantum technologies out of labs and into real-world applications. Industrial actors are playing a key role: they provide the enabling technologies as well as the commercialization know-how driving this development. The program covers the areas of quantum computing, quantum sensing, quantum instrumentation and quantum communication.
by Swiss Quantum Ecosystem
The Quantum Industry Day in Switzerland gathers academic and industrial R&D to foster exchange and accelerate the development of new quantum products for inspiring keynote talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
by QuNeW 2025
QuNeW will be a full 3-day workshop, bringing together 150 academic and industry experts spanning all sub-fields of quantum networks to discuss the latest advances in the field. The program will combine inspiring invited and contributed talks with multiple poster sessions for in-depth discussions of latest breakthroughs and ongoing efforts.
by GESDA Summit
As part of the fifth GESDA Summit, which gathers 1,000 global leaders in science, diplomacy, policy, and industry, the Open Quantum Institute (OQI) will convene its annual meeting, with dedicated sessions on quantum technologies. The Open Quantum Institute (OQI), a multilateral governance initiative hosted at CERN, was born at GESDA and is supported by UBS to promote global and inclusive access to quantum computing for the benefit of humanity.
by Open Quantum Institute General Meeting and Workshops
by Quantum Computing Hackathon
Teams will develop quantum solutions for the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This hands-on competition offers students practical experience, helps corporates explore first applications, and shows policymakers that quantum is already delivering real results—making it a key driver for Switzerland's innovation agenda and future investment.
by Journée de la Quantique at EPFL
Atome, énergie, lumière : la quantique pour grand public ! An event on quantum science and technology with engaging speakers, ateliers, and demonstrations of practical applications. Discover the strange and fascinating world of quantum physics through hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and engaging talks by scientists.
