APWG eCrime (Symposium on Electronic Crime Research)
The APWG Symposium on Electronic Crime Research (eCrime) is the only peer-reviewed, publishing research conference focused exclusively on cybercrime. It brings together industry, law enforcement, government, NGO and academic researchers to present cutting-edge counter-cybercrime research, training sessions, and annual cybercrime policy roundtables. eCrime 2026 in Lisbon will focus on threats such as software supply chain attacks, cybercrime scam camps, and the rise of cybercriminal states.

eCrime 2026, the 21st annual Symposium on Electronic Crime Research, will be held in Lisbon and will examine consequential cybercrime threats including software supply chain attacks, cybercrime scam camps, and the rise of cybercriminal states. The week includes training sessions, peer-reviewed conference proceedings, a Chalk Talk session for works-in-progress and demos, and a by-invitation policy roundtable on Measurement, Transparency, and Cyber Integrity Policy focused on 'AI Sovereignty Versus Internet Governance.' The IEEE Computer Society's Technical Community on Security & Privacy is the Technical Sponsor.
