New Security Paradigms Workshop
NSPW invites submissions presenting new approaches (paradigms) to security problems or critiquing existing approaches. NSPW 2026's theme is 'The End of Security?', encouraging submissions on topics like legacy technology, end of support lifecycles, security and usability tradeoffs, risk management, threat modelling, incident detection, AI in security, and new paradigms beyond assurance and control. Accepted papers undergo a unique shepherding process with pre- and post-workshop revisions, culminating in an hour-long presentation and discussion session at the workshop.

NSPW 2026 is the New Security Paradigms Workshop focused on the theme 'The End of Security?'. The workshop invites Regular submissions, Theme Submissions, and Implementation Submissions. Submissions are due May 14, 2026, with review notifications sent July 7, 2026, and final acceptance notification August 3, 2026. Accepted papers will be published in the ACM Digital Library's International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). The workshop is a 2.5-day program requiring full participant engagement per the social contract, preceded by an evening reception, with some child care arrangements being considered.
