OPTIMIST
OPTIMIST is a forum for open, reproducible, and community-driven work in implementation security. It aims to make security evaluation more measurable, reusable, and comparable by gathering researchers, practitioners, tool developers, dataset creators, evaluators, and standardization stakeholders in a single forum. OPTIMIST considers open contributions in implementation security across the physical, microarchitectural, hardware, firmware, software, and system-level spectrum, including reproducible evaluation, interoperable workflows, open benchmarks, AI-enabled security methods, implementation security of AI systems, and post-quantum cryptography implementations.

OPTIMIST Workshop 2026 held in conjunction with CHES 2026 in Antalya, Turkey. A forum for open, reproducible, and community-driven work in implementation security featuring invited talks, technical sessions on reproducible evaluation, side-channel analysis, leakage assessment, hardware design and physical-security testing, a panel discussion, and a Q&A session. Submission deadline (extended): July 15, 2026. Acceptance notifications and program announcement (updated): August 21, 2026.
